ON TOP OF THE WORLD
By Db Waterman
Construction workers are busy at a great height with the installation of a steel pipe construction. I made this photo on a construction site. I assemble original photography, sorted paper, a
crylic, oil, charcoal, ink and pencil in my work. I have always enjoyed the sight of weathered walls plastered with peeling paint and old posters. I will relive this aesthetic with hopefully a sharp and professional eye. The creative goal of my work is to 'make something beautiful WITH' degradation '. My artworks explore the dissonance between old and new materials, interwoven in the most beautiful way to create dreamlike and melancholy images.
