Quanah Parker

Quanah Parker was a warrior and last Comanche chief. A known great leader who lead by example two lives having had a white American mother. He was a successful rancher and investor in Texas;
and led his tribe and tribal youth to focus on self-reliance, and self sufficiency. He founded the Native American Church. Government officials who once fought him and his people recognized him as a great leader with his name memorialized throughout Texas and OK. “May the Great Spirit smile on your little town, May the rain fall in season, and in the warmth of the sunshine after the rain, May the earth yield bountifully, May peace and contentment be with you and your children forever.” - Quanah Parker.
