This is a playful and intutive variation of Mondrians principles. Horizontal and vertical gray lines are creating a complex grid. They are enclosing rectangles of different sizes and

orientations. Due to the free and partly crooked sketches still visible under the translucent watercolor, the image appears both strict and pitturesque. The colors are uplifing, lightful and soft.
